📏 Wheel Diameter, inches
Wheel Diameter, inches
The inch size is the approximate outer tyre diameter. The figure in brackets is the rim bead seat diameter according to ETRTO (ISO 5775) in millimetres — this determines tyre and tube compatibility.
🤘 Which diameter for what:
- 12" (203 mm) — micro folding bikes, kids’ models; ultra‑compact but ride is less smooth.
- 14" (254 mm) — lightweight folders for short city hops; a bit more comfort than 12".
- 16" (305 mm) — popular folding bike size (e.g. Brompton), agile and perfect for multimodal commutes (metro + bike).
- 18" (355 mm) — a compromise between compactness and roll‑over ability; found on some folders and teen bikes.
- 20" (406 mm) — the most common folder and city bike size; great balance of portability, roll‑over and stability.
- 24" (507 mm) — teen bikes, cruisers, some cargo bikes; smoother ride, still quite nimble.
- 26" (559 mm) — classic mountain and city standard; excellent off‑road capability, huge tyre choice.
- 27.5" (584 mm) — the sweet spot: better roll‑over than 26", more agile than 29".
- 29" (622 mm) — maximum roll‑over efficiency, best for long flat roads and rough terrain. This also covers 28" / 700C (same rim 622 mm with a narrower tyre).
- Other — non‑standard diameter not listed above.
Brakes Type
Brakes Type
Brakes are one of the most important safety components on an e‑bike, especially given the extra weight and speed.
🤘 Main types:
- V-brake (rim) — pads squeeze the wheel rim. Simple, cheap and lightweight. Weak in wet/mud, wear out the rim, not recommended for powerful e‑bikes. Suitable for light city models with low speeds.
- Mechanical Disc — a rotor on the hub, pads are actuated by a cable. Much more effective than V‑brakes, work well in dry conditions. They need periodic adjustment and require more lever force than hydraulics. A good choice for budget and mid‑range e‑bikes.
- Hydraulic Disc — the best choice for most modern e‑bikes. Fluid pressure gives excellent stopping power, modulation and control. Work perfectly in any weather, require minimal maintenance. Recommended for powerful, high‑speed and mountain models.
- Drum — enclosed brakes inside the hub. Extremely resistant to water, mud and dust, almost maintenance‑free. Often used on cargo and some city e‑bikes. Stopping power is lower than disc brakes.
- Other — rare or non‑standard brake systems not listed above.
⛔ Regenerative braking (regen) is not a separate brake type — it is an additional motor function that helps slow down and recharge the battery, but does not replace the primary brakes.
Suspension Type
Suspension Type
Suspension reduces road shocks and vibrations, improving comfort and control. It is especially important for e‑bikes due to their greater weight and speed.
🤘 Main types:
- Rigid (no suspension) — rigid frame and fork, no shock absorbers. Simplest and lightest design. Works well on perfectly smooth asphalt, short city trips. Every bump is felt on rough roads or cobblestones.
- Front Suspension — a suspension fork at the front. The most common type for city, mountain and trekking bikes. Absorbs impacts on the front wheel, improves control on uneven roads and gravel. The rear remains rigid.
- Rear Suspension — a shock absorber at the rear of the frame. Less common, sometimes found on cargo or special models. Softens hits under the saddle while keeping the front rigid.
- Full Suspension (front + rear) — both a suspension fork and a rear shock. Maximum comfort and control on off‑road, mountain trails, and rough terrain. Heavier and more expensive. Ideal for powerful off‑road e‑bikes.
- Seatpost Suspension — an additional shock absorber under the saddle, attached between the seat tube and the frame (often near the folding mechanism). Absorbs jolts transmitted to the spine without affecting the main suspension. Often found on folding, city and comfort e‑bikes. Can be combined with any other suspension type.
- Other — rare or specific suspension systems not listed above.
🛴 Three‑wheeled e‑bikes (trikes) may feature similar suspension types: independent rear wheel suspension, front fork, or full suspension.
Drive Type
Drive Type
Indicates which wheel(s) are powered by the electric motor. This affects the bike’s behaviour on different surfaces.
🤘 Main types:
- Front Drive — motor in the front wheel. Simpler design, easy to install. Suitable for flat asphalt and leisurely riding. On climbs or slippery surfaces, the front wheel can lose traction (spin), so it is less suited for hilly or off‑road terrain. Often found on budget city models.
- Rear Drive — motor in the rear wheel. The most common type. Provides better grip during acceleration and on climbs, as the rider’s weight naturally loads the rear wheel. Handling feels more natural. Recommended for most e‑bikes, especially for mixed terrain.
- All-Wheel Drive (2 motors) — separate motors in the front and rear wheels. Maximum traction and capability on sand, snow, mud, steep slopes. The best choice for powerful off‑road (fatbike) and extreme models. Heavier and usually more expensive.
- Other — non‑standard layout (e.g., mid‑drive motor with chain drive to the rear wheel, or drive to one/both rear wheels of a tricycle). Choose this if your model does not fit front/rear/all‑wheel drive.
🛴 For three‑wheeled e‑bikes: rear drive can power one or both rear wheels (with or without a differential), front drive powers the front wheel, all‑wheel drive is a combination.
Motor Type
Motor Type
Indicates the motor construction: hub motors (direct drive or geared) or mid‑drive. The type affects ride character, weight, reliability and regenerative braking capability.
🤘 Main types:
- Direct Drive — a hub motor where the rotor directly drives the wheel without a gearbox. Simple, robust, almost maintenance‑free. Handles high power (1000–3000 W and more). Supports regenerative braking. Drawbacks: heavier (5–9 kg), noticeable magnetic drag when pedalling without power. Best for powerful high‑speed e‑bikes, long flat routes where reliability and regen are important.
- Geared Hub — a hub motor with an internal planetary gearbox. Lighter (2–4 kg) and more compact than direct drive. Higher torque at low rpm, confidently tackles hills. Freewheels easily (no magnetic drag when pedalling unpowered). Drawbacks: moving gears eventually wear; no regenerative braking; power limited (typically up to 1000–1500 W). Ideal for city, mountain and trekking e‑bikes where lightness, efficiency and natural pedalling are desired.
- Mid‑Drive — a motor mounted in the bottom bracket area (near the pedals). It drives the chain and uses the bike’s gears. This allows optimal torque: low gear for steep climbs, high gear for speed on flats. Natural pedalling feel, excellent weight balance. Drawbacks: higher cost, increased chain and sprocket wear, more complex installation. Best for off‑road mountain riding, trekking, cargo hauling — wherever maximum climbing traction matters.
- Other — rare or non‑standard motor types (e.g., friction drive, external motor, etc.).
🔄 In short: choose Direct Drive for powerful high‑speed builds, Geared Hub for lightweight all‑rounders, Mid‑Drive for maximum climbing ability in tough terrain.
Frame Material
Frame Material
The frame material determines weight, strength, stiffness, vibration damping and price. This is especially important for e‑bikes due to the added weight of the motor and battery.
🤘 Main materials:
- Steel — traditional material. Heavier than aluminium, but absorbs vibrations well and is very repairable. Both cheap Hi‑Tensile steel (heavy, budget models) and chromoly Cr‑Mo (lighter, strong, comfortable) are used. On modern e‑bikes steel is less common, mainly on cargo, retro or budget models.
- Aluminium Alloy — the most common e‑bike frame material. Lighter than steel, rust‑proof, fairly strong and affordable. A stiff frame transmits power well but damps less road buzz. The ideal balance for city, mountain and trekking e‑bikes.
- Carbon Fiber — very light and strong. Excellent vibration damping, allows aerodynamic shapes. Drawbacks: high price, sensitive to sharp impacts (cracking), difficult to repair. Used in premium sport and road e‑bikes.
- Titanium — light, extremely strong, corrosion‑proof, naturally dampens vibrations. As comfortable as steel but much lighter. The most expensive option. Usually found on exclusive and custom e‑bikes.
- Magnesium Alloy — the lightest of the metals, but less common. Requires complex manufacturing and corrosion protection. Sometimes used in folding or ultra‑light city models.
- Other — rare or combined materials (e.g., aluminium + carbon elements, steel + carbon, etc.).
✅ For most riders, aluminium alloy is the optimal choice — light, strong and affordable.

- The price of some items may fluctuate up or down, sometimes up to 2000 UAH per unit.
- Different suppliers update their price lists at different times, and the cost of many goods is tied to international settlement currencies.
- The exchange rate of the national currency of Ukraine is quite dynamic.
- All this together makes it difficult to maintain perfectly accurate prices for all products on a daily basis.
- When placing an order, the current price of an item is always verified and agreed with the supplier.
- You can also check the price via the comment form under the product description from our Telegram channel. 📱
- Please treat this with understanding and a bit of humour. 😊
- Unfortunately, not everything is as perfect as we would like it to be.
- Peace, kindness, and happy shopping! 🛍️

Returns and Exchanges
Every customer has the right within 14 days to exchange or return a purchased product if, for any reason, it does not suit them. The exchange of goods is carried out in accordance with the Law of Ukraine “On Consumer Protection”.
Conditions for exchange or return of goods:
- No more than 14 days have passed since the purchase.
- The product shows no signs of use, the original appearance is preserved (including the packaging), it has not been activated and has no damage, and is in complete set. The product powers on, all functions work properly, and there are no damages.
- You must provide: a document confirming the purchase (receipt, invoice, or act); a passport or other identity document; a properly completed warranty card; bank card details if the purchase was made by non-cash payment.
A product with a defect or fault is subject to replacement or return according to the conclusion of the service center if such defect was reported by you to the service center within the warranty period and if the defect occurred due to the manufacturer and cannot be repaired. In this case, the above-mentioned documents must be provided.
Warranty
Most electric vehicles (electric scooters, electric bicycles, and electric mopeds/scooters) are covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of purchase.
Battery packs, which are considered separate consumable components of the vehicle, are generally covered by a 6-month warranty, unless a different warranty period is specified in the documentation for a particular model.
Warranty obligations are provided and fulfilled by the importer, manufacturer, authorized brand representative, or supplier, who are responsible for service support and spare parts availability within Ukraine.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects and hidden faults discovered during normal operation of the product in accordance with the manufacturer's requirements and operating instructions.
The warranty does not cover:
- mechanical damage;
- damage caused by falls, impacts, or collisions;
- damage resulting from traffic accidents;
- water damage caused by violation of operating conditions;
- unauthorized modifications or repairs to the vehicle or its electronics;
- use of non-original or incompatible chargers and components;
- normal wear and tear of tires, brake pads, lamps, bearings, and other consumable parts;
- natural reduction of battery capacity over time due to regular use.
Important *
The online store ensures proper processing of the purchase and organization of shipment of the goods to the buyer. The seller also provides information on the warranty service procedure as set out on this page, including upon separate request if additional information is required.
At the same time, the online store is not the manufacturer, importer or service center and does not independently carry out warranty repairs, technical diagnostics or examination of the goods.
In the event of a warranty claim, the request is reviewed by an authorized service center, importer or supplier, which, in accordance with the legislation of Ukraine and their own warranty obligations, make a decision on repair, replacement of the goods or other ways of eliminating defects.
The online store, for its part, provides the buyer with all necessary information on the warranty claim procedure and contact details of the responsible service center or supplier.
On this basis, the online store is not a party to the relationship regarding compliance with and fulfillment of warranty obligations between the buyer and the authorized representative who has announced the provision of warranty and has undertaken to fulfill its conditions.
- This provision does not limit the consumer rights provided for by the legislation of Ukraine, in particular the Law of Ukraine "On Protection of Consumer Rights".
